The DRC Embassy in Qatar only receives visitors by appointment.
We offer services to Congolese citizens living in Qatar, as well as any Qatari citizens and residents wishing to visit the Democratic Republic of Congo. This page summarizes the conditions for obtaining various consular documents, as well as the associated conditions and fees.

This page contains the information for obtaining various consular documents, the fees and other
conditions to be met to request consular services
Appointments for any of the consular services available at the Embassy of the DRC in Doha can be
made online.
1. A passport valid for at least one year and a photocopy of the first two pages of the passport;
2. The Visa application form: Submit form here
3. A photocopy of a government issued ID card or a photocopy of the passport bio page.
4. Two identical and recent passport photos (Photo must no more than 6 month old)
5. For researchers, the academic and scientific body on a mission of service; they must submit a
letter from their institution, in addition to the documents requested above.
6. For media specialists on assignment; it requires accreditation from the supervising Ministry, a list
of their equipment, in addition to the documents requested above (sections 1, 2, 3, 4);
For non-Congolese nationals, in addition to the documents listed above, it will be necessary to
present:
7. A valid Qatari visa or residence certificate
8. A notarized invitation letter when applicable
9. Invitation must clearly include all the host’s contact details: surname, first name, function,
telephone number, address.
(a) All expedite requests are made in person at the embassy. (no express request online).
(b) In terms of health, during your trip please:
(c) The processing of visa applications is one week. For first-time travelers (first trip to the DRC),
this period is two weeks.
In addition to the documents listed above (sections 1, 2, 3 and 4), please provide:
1. A parental authorization signed by one of the parents if the child is travelling with one of the
parents (the father or mother). The parental consent must be notarized.
NB: The visa is only granted to residents of the State of Qatar.
Incorrectly completed forms and incomplete applications will not be accepted.
In case of denial of the visa, cancellation of the trip and withdrawal, the fees paid are not
refunded.
