Documents to be submitted to the Embassy prior to biometric capture

The documents may be sent by email or submitted physically at the Embassy:

• Duly completed and signed passport application form; 

• Proof of payment made through the Equity BCDC platform; 

• Nationality certificate or equivalent document (for first-time applications); 

• Copy of the national identity card or residence permit; 

• Copy of the previous passport, if available; 

• Birth certificate, accompanied by a supplementary court judgment where necessary; 

• Parental authorization for minors.
  
  

Validation and Biometric Capture

After the documents have been validated by the competent services (ANR), the Embassy will contact the applicant to schedule an appointment for the capture of biometric data.

Passport Processing and Collection

• Once biometric capture has been completed, the data will be transmitted to the Printing Centre in Kinshasa; 

• Once printed, the passport will be shipped to Doha; 

• The applicant will be contacted upon receipt of the passport for collection.
  
  

Estimated processing time: 20 working days from the date of biometric capture.
