Ordinary Visa
For adults
- A passport valid for at least one year and a photocopy of the first two pages of said passport;
- Visa application form :
- If applying online on the drcintar.org website , please print the form and proof of payment sent in the visa application confirmation email (signed form).
- If applying on site at the Embassy, please complete the visa application form duly in capital letters (form dated and signed).
- A photocopy of the double-sided identity card;
- Two identical and recent passport photos
Special cases :
- For researchers, the academic and scientific body on a service mission; it is obligatory to present a letter from their Institution, in addition to the documents requested above (sections 1, 2, 3, 4);
- For media specialists on a service mission; it is obligatory to provide accreditation from the supervisory Ministry, a list of equipment, in addition to the requested documents (sections 1, 2, 3, 4);
Non-Congolese nationals:
For non-Congolese nationals, in addition to the documents listed above, you will need to present:
- Either an invitation imperatively legalized by the notary of the city of residence of the inviter and the Directorate of the Chancellery of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kinshasa) or the capture center; or a confirmed reservation at a local hotel within the DRC.
- The inviter must clearly include in his invitation all his contact details: name, first name, position, telephone number and address. In the case of a natural person, they must attach copies of their identity card and their service card;
- The commitment to support from the General Directorate of Migration constitutes an invitation and can also be accompanied by a legalized invitation in due form.
NB:
- a) All express requests are made to the embassy. (no express request online).
- b) Regarding health, during your trip please:
- Complying with the requirements due to the pandemic is essential, according to the measures in force in the countries of departure and arrival.
- Have an international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever dated less than five years ago (check with your doctor);
- c) The national visa granting commission reminded the DRC embassies of the following provisions:
- Any application for an entry visa into the Democratic Republic of Congo is subject to its favorable opinion. No visa can be issued without the prior examination of the said application by the commission. A refused request will not be subject to any refund.
- The processing of visa applications remains at least one week. For first-time travelers (first trip to the DRC), this period is two weeks.
For minor children
In addition to the documents listed above (sections 1, 2, 3 and 4), you must:
1. A parental authorization signed by the absent parent if the child is only traveling with one of the parents (the father or the mother). Parental authorization must be legalized by a state authority of residence of the signing parent(s);
NB: The visa is only granted to residents of Qatar
Any incorrectly completed form and any incomplete file will not be accepted.
In the event of refusal to grant a visa, cancellation of the trip or withdrawal, the fees paid are not refunded.
Payment can be made:
In cash at the counters of the Chancellery at the Embassy of the DRC in Doha. (Bring the exact amount)
